During the COVID-19 lockdown, I spent my days walking through and rediscovering my hometown. I’ve always been fascinated by houses, fertile grounds for the imagination, hinting at what lies inside. It was in this context that I came across "Contes et Légendes du Berry et de la Sologne" (Tales and Legends of Berry and Sologne), a book compiling stories by Claude Seignolle, Laisnel de la Salle, and George Sand, all known for their writings about Berry. I wanted to bring these old tales back into contemporary homes.
